Integrated Chronic Disease Management and Prevention Course (May 2024)

Course overview: This online specialized course will allow learners to increase their knowledge about modifiable risk factors (i.e. alcohol use, physical inactivity, stress, poor sleep and poor nutrition) and its relationship to tobacco dependence, opportunities for screening, assessment and treatment. Learners should also be able to apply these skills and approaches to individuals who use tobacco to address multiple modifiable risk factors as a part of tobacco dependence treatment.

Intended audience: This course is open to all interested learners. If you are interested in completing the TEACH Certificate Program, please note that you must complete (1) the TEACH Core Course and (2) two TEACH Specialty Courses. Courses do not need to be completed in a certain order.
